I think we have all had enough cold and snow so I thought I would post some warm vibrant flowers taken during an evening walk early in October. These flowers grow in the fields that are a part of the Fletcher Wildlife Garden located on the Experimental Farm in Ottawa. The hard work of volunteers is apparent as new wildflowers are thriving all over this garden. These flowers grow very tall and in great abundance. It was a novelty to be able to stand to shoot them because many were as tall as me. These colourful yellow daisies are one of a number of varieties planted to attract butterflies.
