Walking Between the Lines

I captured this young man as he walked along the Rideau Canal under the Laurier Avenue Bridge. The green steel arches makes this bridge one of the most recognizable in Ottawa. The image is a maze of lines, curves, shapes, patterns, shadows and reflections. Click on the image to enlarge for better viewing.

  1. I really like how the curves of the bridge and their reflections are visually moving towards the right of the photograph and the figure is walking towards the left, against them…one frail figure against all of that massive metal. There’s a story there…(You know I always seem to be looking for a story!)
