Getting a Head Start on Spring

Spring has arrived in Ottawa but it is still quite cold and sometimes dips below zero at night. So only the very hardy have started to show themselves. These images of spring flowers, new leaves and a squirrel are from last year.

  1. It’s autumn and I’m finally able to catch up with your spring photos!! A lovely collection and the red/yellow tulips are particularly eye catching against the dark background.

  2. Beth, I came over to say ‘Thank You’ …. ..and then,
your absolutely stunning photos have gotten me totally sidetracked! The dandelion, trillium and tiny violet reminded me so much of growing up; I love the fern frond, and the squirrel; magnolia is gorgeous! simply wonderful. And, Thank You!! you were my 700th follower and I was so excited! 🙂 cheers, Debi

    1. Wow, you did get sidetracked, I totally love it. Thanks for all your wonderful comments. I have just returned from a long break during which I have been doing some experimenting and painting so I was happy to find your website.
