This was the view of Parliament Hill from Major’s Hill Park on Remembrance Day 2011. We walked from the National War Memorial through Major’s Hill Park to the The Peacekeeping Monument. I was reviewing my archives of Remembrance Day and came across these images. They were taken with my Nikon D5000 which I still have and use as a backup camera now. The overcast daylight works well with the gothic architecture of the Parliament Buildings. Click on the images to enlarge for better viewing.

I grab a chance to see those brilliant colors of autumn anytime I can. Not much of that in south Florida.
Love your photos. Have a great day
I would miss the autumn colours for sure. Thanks for the comment and visit.
Amazing colours.
Thanks Rabirius
Beautiful! Great photos!
Thanks you, glad you like them.
You’re welcome. :-).
Once again, stunning pictures Beth !!!
Thanks Nancy. 🙂
The vivid leaves contrast so well against the softness of the sky!
Thanks Patti. I do love shooting autumn colour but obviously a little slow at processing my pictures. But they are still good years later. 🙂
Each of these photographs dance with Autumn, reminding us of the winter to come. Beautiful gold against nondescript sky and significant structure w/green roof tops.
“Dance with Autumn”, what a lovely description. And you are right winter is right around the corner. 😦
Beautiful photos!! 🙂
Thank you very much.
Love the Gothic style ! Those golden trees make a lovely contrast to it all Beth .
I think so too. Thanks Poppy.
Lovely colours. I like that first one particularly. Sadly, we don’t get those autumn colours here in my area.
Thanks, I look forward to shooting autumn colours every year. Sadly, I’m not near any ocean beaches which I would enjoy very much too! 🙂
This is very nice!! By any chance, did u take a HDR photo at the same location…if u did, please do share!!
Thanks senK. Sorry no HDR shot yet.
